Relief printmaking is a fine art or media art?
I need to know if I belong to my relief printmaking portfolio in my piece. his due tomorrow! anyone can please help me? I applied for a design and media arts program at UCLA, and I have to create it, to send a portfolio. I am also including graphic design pieces and photography printmaking relief (aka carving stamps and Print on paper) as a media, arts or Studio?
The common difference between fine art and media art, visual art that deals with the originals – something that is created and is unique. Media deals with something that is being played. Such an original drawing would be an art, but reproductions of the painting would be art media. However, they have – Introducing a third category – studio art and I have no idea how you would distinguish punching (which is a form of printing, which is graphic Play) Media art. So I can not help you. As a rule of thumb, if you have doubts, they belong to. Better than cover all your bases leave out something that perhaps rash-giving Importance. good luck
