I need to write the essay a culture, like the European art in the early 19th Century and was influenced of African art. Ive all internet but i cannot find anything about! then any kind of help especially examples of art from that period would be much appreciated! thanks!
Are you sure you have the wording right? African art has a great influence in the art since the beginning of the era of modern art in the late 19th Century. African art itself began to gain popularity with the Fauve artists such as Matisse, 1904-1908. The Fauves were the Cubists, the Surrealists, the Mexican mural painters, the modernists, the abstract expressionism and modernism, artists followed. Many of these artists as Matisse, African masks collected. African Art was a particularly strong influence on the abstraction in art. As far as the beginning of the 19th Century is concerned, I should mention that the Age of Romanticism, by lasted approximately from 1800 to 1850, took much of the emotion and focus on color, which was with African art and culture connection made. The art of the early 19th Century Painter conducted much of the same expressive power, and taken it in warm colors often associated with Africa. The French artist Eugene Delacroix, one of the Leader was taken over in this area exotic images in his work. He had visited Morocco, and throughout the country, entered a harem. He produced many sketches of the harem, because he likes the colorful costumes. He painted in bright colors and trained animals like lions, tigers and horses in his paintings. Gustave Boulanger, a neo-classical painters of early 19th century, was another artist whose painting French was influenced by North Africa. I would say that the African art and culture influenced the use of color and emotion in the painting of the early 19th Century, especially as seen in the Romantic period. Although the art of the early 19th Century representaional rather than abstract, it was technically less accurate than some earlier forms of painting, had the most ntably which was the Renaissance and Neo-Classicism. The art of romance often unrealistic in nature.
