What are the canvas-mounted art tasks with a single letter is taken as the subject?
I was on a Google hunt for just directionless information about what I expect to designing projects or individual studies typography that I sometimes see students toting to campus or proudly affixed to the wall be. The pieces feature the letters of the alphabet, either upper or lower case letters, black ink on white paper (although I have a few applications of liquid Ink have seen on various media as well) mounted on a black target boards. I think I wanted to understand only the name, purpose and parameters of these assignments.
At my school these assignments are all about the hand skills. They are usually my first year out Comm design students, because in its first year in the program study them typography and writing forms. I am quite sure of what could be the name of this type of assignment, but I know that the purpose of the practice is your hand skills. The experiment, an interesting piece with a single letter form. And they have to be perfect.
