Who was the first artist satire? Or who popularized art satire?
I am writing a paper about an artist. I like adbusters, but they seem not to have a particular artist, the work of the magazine is doing its work by many artists together. So I try their art satire on the first satirical artist or whoever's popular track … to a man or woman. Can this be done? Who is it? Please answer only if knowledgeable. Thank you.
I assume you mean visual satire, literary or dramatic. The answer is no, you will not be able to trace it back to a person. A good example, or a good place to To begin your search, could be Thomas Rowlandson.
