To protect the surface of the child study table?
We bought a wood (birch) and stable table for my 8 year old a few months back. It is already covered with several brands and scratches. I thought of a "glass" at the top of the size of the table as they have in some restaurants. This would also allow her to place some pictures / art. Contact paper was a different idea, but it is the gluten can lead to collect, settle down. Any other Options?
I'd say you're on the mark with glass, beautiful on the beveled edges, it will protect the wood well and to help it secure for the coming years.
