How is the art image expansion for?
Hi I need to know included the "make a 12" inches x 10 inches Drawing to a 24 inch x 18 "paper with borders.
First you need to find out how thick you want your limits. Say one inch all around. You must subtract two inches from each dimension, so that your image space will be more than 22 "x 16". Then, scale 10 "to 16" by multiplying by 16/10, and 1.6. Multiply 12 "by this ratio to 19.2". Your image dimensions are 19.2 "x16" and the paper size will be 21.2 "x18" (trim 2.8 "from the 24" side) edit. Or if you just want to center it without trimming, there was a customs boundary along the sides and 2.4 "(24 to 19.2 divided by two) on the short sides.
