tissue paper art for toddlers
Very Hungry Caterpillar room decorating ideas?

Hello! I recently bought the Very Hungry Caterpillar bedding from for my little son in the room. Its adorable! Problem, I can find an appropriate wall art for the rest of his room is decorated with. The work of art itself seems to be a very simple design, and while I probably could freehand the caterpillar and butterfly on his walls, I am a bit afraid to do something permanent. Any ideas on how big caterpillar and butterfly Medium are easy to create with materials? Felt, tissue paper, whatever. I welcome your ideas and concepts! It could be really a lot of fun, including the food, the sun, etc. .. in the book! Here is a link found on the bedding itself: Thanks http://www.amazon.com/Carle-Hungry-Caterpillar-Bedding-Collection/dp/B000GKJA5A People!

As a muralist, I would like to do a room like that! However, they are not a muralist and want something less permanent, than to go crazy with color … You could use felt from a fabric store, but if you go with felt they deal with hair spray or a flower preserver to keep looking fresh longer. I would paint it but .. lol .. It might be fun … Practice in some large pieces of cardboard … I think even with a large circle sponge to do would really help and boost your confidence. You could have the bulk of the work and the little details do not be so frightening. If you paint sponge, make sure you dab the sponge a few times before – you do not paint too much on it – just enough to cover the area. Good Luck and Great Idea .. The foam idea is good .. but .. I temporarily be used to teach art classes for things with and it is easily forgiven. If the humidity in the room, etc.. .. It is forgiven and considering you can use a Humidifier at some point .. go with paint.
