Who knows "how to" preserve a child's art project with tissue paper glued to a glass bottle?
My son gave me a vase from a glass bottle with tissue paper pieces all sticking it to them in school and I love to keep it displayed for people to see, but there is dust on, and when I click gently Dust it off, the paper tears sometimes, where it is not appropriate proof. I was so spraying the whole thing with clear spray paint to seal the way of thinking, but I do not know if this make the colors bleed from the tissue paper or ruin it in some other way. Who knows what would happen if I do this or a better solution has for "sealing / maintenance" of this?
If you're worried that the seal with a clear aerosol spray makes the colors bleed, you should try Mod Podge decoupage glue, applied, that is. There are a whole range of Mod Podge on the market now, so you might find the following links helpful: http://www.plaidonline.com/apMP.asp Good luck with your special treasure. : O)
